Progress

In May of 2008, we began to formally plan the Grace Lee Boggs Educational Center, but the vision of this school really took root several years ago, inspired by many people and countless experiences.  Our experiences as educators, youth organizers, and parents have kept education and the future of Detroit at the forefront of our lives.

Since May, we have met weekly to reflect, envision, conduct research, and plan.  Below is a timeline that shows our accomplishments and outlines our future plans.
